Presentations Are Broken

When presentation software first reared its head, it mimicked how we made analog presentations—one “slide” at a time—and for the 25 years since then, their approach has remained stagnant. Features were added, but at the core nothing about the process nor the product was ever truly re-imagined.

We see an opportunity here.

The World Wide Web makes sharing information incredibly easy, something that is inherently applicable to presentations. But no effort so far has brought the two together in a truly “Web-like” manner. Every product in this area has suffered from doing things the same way, presumably because “that’s how it’s always been done”.

We’re going to completely re-imagine the experience from start to finish, and make presentations a first-class citizen of the Web.

This is The Pitch.
